Nigel Cook, 71, of Philips Chase, Hunstanton, died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn in April after developing complications following the accident.

Norfolk Coroner’s Court heard Mr Cook suffered a fractured skull and bleed on the brain after falling backwards in his garage on March 10.

His wife, Emma, was at home when the incident happened and heard the fall before running to help him.
