Joshua Howell, 20, formerly of Wellington Street, Ipswich, was jailed for life with a minimum term of 20 years for his role in the killing in Westgate Street.

Although it was co-defendant Alfie Hammett, of Larkhill Rise, Rushmere St Andrew, who delivered the fatal blows on the afternoon of January 17, 2023, Howell brandished a machete to stop Mr Quigley's friends from intervening.
His new hearing is due to take place at the Royal Courts of Justice in London on Tuesday next week.
