Pub 'stacked with history' to reopen with new owners |
The Earle Arms in Heydon closed on Christmas Eve after the former owner, Andrew Harrison, decided to hand the pub over to the Heydon Estate.
Mr Harrison had run the pub for 26 years and a spokesman for the Heydon Estate thanked him for his “huge contribution to village life”.

The estate is now collaborating with Norwich-based BREAD Hospitality to renovate the property.
It is hoped that the 16th-century pub will be welcoming customers again by April.
