'Full circumstances' of BMW crash that damaged New Look store being considered |
The collision happened at about 8pm on December 16 when the silver car smashed into the front of New Look in Smallgate, Beccles.
More than three months after the shocking crash, questions remain about the incident.
It is not yet clear who was behind the wheel at the time of the crash, but it is believed that the driver fled the scene.
Pictures from the scene showed debris, including half a mannequin wearing a black fur coat, left thrown across the street with the car still covered in bricks.
In an update, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said: "We can only say that the investigation into the full circumstances of the incident is continuing."
Structural engineers attended the shop, which is between a St Elizabeth Hospice charity shop and The Galley, to assess the extent of the damage at the time.
The store has since reopened for business and is back to its scheduled opening hours.
