Cannabis plants worth thousands of pounds found in former pub after dramatic blaze
Plumes of black smoke could be seen from a Magdalen Street building - once the Cat and Fiddle pub and now flats - as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.
Emergency services were called at 2.45pm on Thursday and fire crews remained at the site until 12.20am on Friday.

Once inside the building, crime scene investigators and fire investigators found 40 cannabis plants and hydroponics equipment.
No arrests have been made and police are continuing to investigate the discovery.
