Here are five things you should know about.

A Greggs kitchen will be built at the Motor Fuel Group (MFG) garage along Dereham Road near Costessey after South Norfolk Council gave plans the green light.

The shop building, which is already home to a Londis and a Subway, will be extended to the rear to accommodate the new kitchen and counter.

The proposed opening hours for the new Greggs are 6am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 7am to 4pm Sunday and bank holidays.

2. New 'eco-retreat' in the grounds of Houghton Hall

Houghton Estate, the seat of the 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, has been given planning permission to build 45 one and two-bed cabins in 87 acres of woodland on the estate between King's Lynn and Fakenham.

A planning statement said they would provide "a sensitive, innovative, landscape-led development which will release sustainable income streams whilst protecting and enhancing the site’s biodiversity, heritage and landscape value".

3. Transformation of farm gets green light

Breckland Council has unanimously backed an application to develop a section of Attleborough Hall Farm into a commercial hub spanning more than 2,200sqm.

The plans put forward by the Walker family, who manage the arable and dairy farm, also include a 96-space car park with disabled bays and electric vehicle charging units.

The new development will add to Daily’s Milk Shed, a popular business already operating at a section of the farm which sells milk via vending machines and hosts occasional events.

4. Plans for new kiosks with payphones

NWP Street Ltd has applied for planning permission to install three communication kiosks and also gain advertising consent in Great Yarmouth.

The company has applied to build the kiosks at three sites - outside North Quay, outside 3 Market Place and outside 113 Regent Road.

It says the need for public payphones is great and states 2.68 million people in the UK do not own a mobile phone.

The proposed kiosks would deliver a range of services, including providing the ability to make calls and wayfinding via a touchscreen.

5. Plans for new car park

Aylsham Town Council has submitted a proposal to Broadland Council for a new transport hub and car parking off Norwich Road.

The proposed site is set to offer 62 parking spaces and cycle stands for 10 bikes, forming part of the approved 250-home development currently under construction on the same road.

In the documents, the council said the parking area would "relieve pressures on the town centre", and provide an area for those wishing to travel further afield, such as to Cromer or Norwich via bus.
