Creator with more than 400,000 followers visits UK's 'biggest and best' car boot sale

The man behind the Life at Gully pages travels the country visiting charity shops, car boot sales and markets to encourage sustainable shopping.

Over the weekend, he was in Norfolk to visit the Arminghall Car Boot Sale which was previously named the "biggest and best" in the country by The Sun.

Arminghall has been running since 1987 and regularly welcomes up to 600 stallholders.

It opens at its site off Old Stoke Road, just south of Norwich, on Wednesdays, Sundays and bank holiday Mondays between March and November.

Life at Gully shared content live from last Sunday's event.

"This is the Arminghall Car Boot Sale in Norwich," he wrote on Facebook after arriving.

"Only just got here, can’t believe the size of it. There are sellers absolutely everywhere."

He shared pictures of some of the quirkier items he scooped up, including a large battery-recycling station shaped like a battery, lots of clothes, and a money box shaped like a crayon.

"This one was huge," he said afterwards. "I was not prepared.

"Shouts to the guys who gave me loads of free items of clothing. They were just giving away.

"Arminghall, thank you for having me. More like ArmingHAUL though."

On his trip to Norfolk, he also stumbled across a car boot sale at Hoveton.

"I had to turn around as soon as I saw it," he said. "It's a little quiet one, too."

Among the items he found were a 1994 Beano, an electric blue pair of Dr Marten boots and a guitar.
