Child taken to hospital after being hit by car

It happened close to North Walsham's skate park just after 6pm on Tuesday.

A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary confirmed officers attended and the child went to hospital for checks as a precaution.

They are not believed to have been seriously injured, but the East of England Ambulance Service has been contacted for more information.
