Biker remains in hospital days after hitting deer on major road

Emergency services were called to the A146 between Hales and Stockton at 7.15pm on Saturday.

A red Yamaha motorcycle had collided with a deer.

The rider, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains. 

The road was closed while emergency services attended, reopening at around 10.45pm.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or captured relevant dashcam footage.
