Holkham Beach was named the eighth most beautiful place in the UK, thanks to its vast golden sands, peaceful pine forests and unspoiled coastal scenery within the Holkham National Nature Reserve.
It was pipped to the top spot by locations including Queen's View in Perthshire in Scotland, The Lake District in Cumbria and the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye.
With the Sandringham Estate just a half an hour's drive from Holkham Beach, it has become a popular spot with the Royal family.
King Charles was pictured building sandcastles on the beach as a young child, and in recent years, the Princess and Princess of Wales have shared pictures of their children playing in the dunes.
