Head chef of Michelin-starred restaurant leaving after 34 years

Morston Hall near Blakeney has been sold to new owners after Galton and Tracy Blackiston handed over the reins to the business.

Now, it has been revealed that Mr Blackiston, who was also the head chef, has left the premises for good.

Announcing the news to his 33,000 Instagram followers on Tuesday, he said: "So, big, poignant day today.

"This is my last shift at Morston Hall.

"I wouldn't say necessarily forever, because I hopefully will be coming back for special events and things like that.
