Electrician left paralysed after life-changing work accident dies aged 58 |
Sean Garrett, of Collingwood Close, Heacham, near Hunstanton, passed away at the Queen Elizabeth in King’s Lynn on October 29.
His death came seven years after a work accident left him paralysed from the waist down.
In October 2018, Mr Garrett fell from a step ladder through an open flooring hole and three metres to the floor below while working as an electrical contractor.
He was left with serious injuries including four fractured ribs, a fracture to the front of the skull, broken nerves to the nose, a broken backbone in three places and a broken spinal cord.
He reported having no memory of the accident, and speaking publicly four years later, described how his day-to-day life had changed.........
