Devoted father who spiralled into depression took own life on Mother's Day

Andrew Brett died at the age of 63 on March 30 this year - Mother's Day and the birthday of his late mum.

An inquest into his death heard that Mr Brett, a father-of-two and gas engineer, died following a two-year struggle with depression following the deaths of his parents.

But his beloved family - wife Sally and two daughters Lilli and Evie- will remember him for how he was before his illness took toll.
