Second arrest made after 23-year-old died in city flat

A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug while a second man, who police have said they would like to speak to in connection with the death, remains on the run.

The man has been taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning where he remains.

The arrest comes after Henry Hammerton, a young football fan, died on Bullard Road on February 11.

Police cars and emergency services were seen swarming the NR3 road but Mr Hammerton died at the scene.

A woman in her 40s was arrested that evening, also on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug, but she has since been released on police bail until May 7.

Following his death, neighbours and friends have paid tribute to Mr Hammerton, describing him as an "incredibly bright" and "friendly" man.

He was born in Ethiopia but was a British citizen and went to City College Norwich.

He was also said to have been a "very good footballer".
