The business expects the new store to create 180 jobs, which it says will increase to 250 within the warehouse.
The proposals said: "The warehouse club will bring significant benefits to the area including the creation of 180 jobs, which will rise to 250 jobs within the warehouse once mature.
"The majority of these are expected to be recruited from the local area, at a time of significant economic challenges."
