Folk furious as claims construction of new McDonald's is causing 'a rat infestation' |
Neighbours on Plaford Road said they have had to endure hours of loud noise from heavy machinery, dust and for some, even a rat infestation, while work is carried out.
They are also calling for a 24-hour licensing application for the drive-through on Mousehold Lane, which is currently under review, to be refused.

Julia Foster and her partner, who asked not to be named, have been living on Plaford Road for the last 13 years.
Julia said she "fell in love" with the property when she first saw it.
But now that their garden backs on to a site on Mousehold Lane where the fast food chain is being built, the couple say their situation has become a "nightmare".
Julia, 71, says: "We had an infestation of rats in our garden because their nest had been disturbed when work started."
