Noise from chickens dooms plan to turn part of farm into houses

Geoff Perry, whose family has run a farming businesses since the 1800s, was seeking permission from Great Yarmouth Borough Council to transform an agricultural building at Dole Poultry Farm on Doles Lane in Bradwell.

The scheme would have involved the creation of three single‑storey homes, including two with one bedroom and one with two.

But planners have refused the proposal.
