Lifeboat station 'one storm away' from disaster reveals plans for new HQ |
Hemsby Lifeboat said it is planning to convert the former Hollywood Diner on Beach Road into a new station, shop and community space.
The existing station at The Gap sits perilously on erosion-threatened sand dunes and every year storms wash away the service's ramp access to the beach.
But behind the scenes, the charity says they have been "planning carefully and responsibly, with the service's long-term future in mind".
Hemsby Lifeboat was founded in 1975.........
