Speed limit cut creates a gentler journey over Norfolk's bumpiest bridge
But journeys over the hump on the B1149 near Cawston are now a bit tamer than they once were.
The speed limit over the Holt Road bridge, which crosses over the Marriott's Way, has been reduced to 40mph.
Norfolk County Council introduced the measure because of fears the structure could otherwise be damaged by lorries involved in nearby construction work to lay wind farm cables.
An electronic, speed-activated sign which flashes motorists' speeds and encourages them to slow down has also been installed.
