Plans for eco-retreat in grounds of Norfolk stately home

The Houghton Estate, seat of the 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley has applied for planning permission to site 45 one and two-bed structures in 87 acres of woodland on the estate between King's Lynn and Fakenham.

A planning statement says they will provide "a sensitive, innovative, landscape-led development which will release sustainable income streams whilst protecting and enhancing the site’s biodiversity, heritage and landscape value".
