Never mind Shakespeare... woz Banksy here? Mystery over town's new street art

West Norfolk Council sent workers to cover the art which is in Ferry Street, King's Lynn, and shows an image of the Bard, William Shakespeare, with the scrawled legend 'Shakespeare Woz Ere' beside it.

Shakespeare is said to have once appeared at the nearby Guildhall of St George on King Street.

The council is currently co-ordinating a £30m restoration of the site, with Shakespeare at the centre of its vision.
