New reading list launched to help school pupils understand refugee experiences |
The Courage Collection brings together books and podcasts for all ages. The list has been created by A Day of Welcome, EmpathyLab, Refugee Week and the National Centre for Writing, based in Norwich. It is free to access online.
The collection includes picture books, novels, poetry, non-fiction and audio content. It targets primary and secondary pupils as well as adults and educators.
Each choice reflects this year’s Refugee Week theme of courage.
