Sheniece Watkins - who was born male but identifies as a woman - handed over the lock knife to officers as they arrived on Heacham North Beach.

The 49-year-old appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Friday to be sentenced to nine months in prison, suspended for 12 months.

Watkins, of Sandpiper Street in Hunstanton, had pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article at Lynn Magistrates’ Court in July, following the initial incident on the beach on May 17.
