Town's market place has been declared complete after £5.8m facelift

The work on the market area in Great Yarmouth's town centre began in June last year with new paving, benches, lighting and planters being installed.

The project on the piazza area began after more than £5m was spent on building a new covered market.

On the Piazza opening, Great Yarmouth Borough Council said in statement: "We’re delighted to share that the public realm works in Great Yarmouth Market Place are now complete.
