Firm secures £2bn contract for 400-mile subsea cable route from Scotland to Norfolk |
Prysmian, headquartered in Milan, will supply cable for the Eastern Green Link 4 project, which will transmit electricity using underwater cables between Fife and Norfolk.
Once completed in 2033, it will be capable of transporting enough electricity to power more than 1.5 million homes.
