Bird handling company fined £16k after whistle-blower warned it was 'a death trap'

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service brought a charge against Anglia Autoflow after the company acted to prevent inspectors accessing the premises, Suffolk Magistrates’ Court was told.

Anglia Autoflow was fined £16,000. The company will also pay costs to the prosecution of £4,586 and a surcharge of £2,000, which is the maximum amount a magistrates’ court can impose.
