We may be only one Premiership game into a new season but some fans are already wanting Rangers to be crowned as champions.

Other callers aren't so pleased with the Ibrox side and have had their say about the stand-off between the club and the SPFL over the new cinch sponsorship deal.

John Carlile emailed: "When Rangers have our flag day in September, the SPFL should just give us the trophy for this season as well as it's in the bag already. Title number 56 is on the way."

Gary Wallace Falkirk, said: "This season is now a story of how many points Rangers will win the title by. I am confident we will have it wrapped up by January."

Edward Fraser emailed: "It appears Rangers are now trying to control Scottish football by complaining about underselling the TV rights and refusing to put cinch on their shirts because one of their directors owns a car dealership. How petty and selfish can you be that you're willing to have this deal taken........
