Throughout the year, Donald Trump has been dropping little hints about what his White House ballroom project entails. In June, he teased that he had a site picked out but didn’t say exactly where the new building would be. In July, he said it would seat 650 people, and a few weeks later that number shot up to 900. Then, when work crews showed up in September, the White House said they were just relocating some trees and shrubs and this “preservation stage” might go on for weeks.
About a month later, the East Wing was just a pile of rubble.
All these hints might be fun in some other scenario.
