What a couple weeks we’ve had, hey?

First, it was an awesome OK Tire Labour Day Weekend. And now we’re coming off an explosive Forty Creek Quadruple Header on Saturday that gave us a little bit of everything in Week 15. Two teams have clinched playoff spots, the West Division is extremely tight, and a few of these individual races are going to come right down to the wire.

Here are three things to keep an eye on between now and the end of the 2026 campaign.

DO WE GET A CROSSOVER?

It’s probably more appropriate to ask which team is going to finish in a crossover playoff spot come late October. Because as it stands, the chances are strong we’ll see a team from the West slide over to the East Division playoffs.

Let’s not sugarcoat things: Hamilton is in tough. Entering a tough Week 16 matchup against Montreal, the Ticats have lost six of their last seven to drop to 4-9 and third in the East Division. That has them behind the eight-ball chasing a trio of 7-6 teams with five games to go. While daylight still exists, there’s no question Hamilton has an uphill climb ahead.
