3 X-factors that could shape the Western Semi-Final

For the third consecutive year, the Saskatchewan Roughriders and BC Lions will meet in a playoff game.

Last season, it was the Riders prevailing 24-21 in a thriller of a Western Final at Mosaic Stadium in Regina. One year later, the Lions look for a measure of revenge in their building as they host the Western Semi-Final on Saturday afternoon.

Both teams finished 10-8 during the regular season, but with wins in two of three head-to-head battles, it’s BC winning the tiebreak and thus serving as hosts.
