Some Final Thoughts Before The Election

The last several years have worn heavily on many of us. The 2024 campaign has been hard. We have seen things we never thought we would see.

We lived through a pandemic that mysteriously appeared as Trump was beginning a campaign for a second term in 2020. Everything President Trump tried to do was either refused or made to look ineffectual. As the virus appeared in China first, President Trump immediately restricted travel to and from that country. He was accused of racism. The president sent a hospital ship to New York City. It sat empty. On and on.

We witnessed the arrival of a new vaccine within months, despite it normally taking ten years or more to develop. Incredibly, it became more deadly than the disease. The federal government was dictating to hospitals how to treat the virus, despite numerous doctors clearly identifying a more effective and less costly approach.

And there was Donald Trump, with massive rallies, who was attacked non-stop during his 2016 and 2020 campaigns and, as president, was not given as much as........
