The Christmas season is upon us and as a big fan of the festive season, I am ready to get into the Christmas spirit! As it edges closer to December, Christmas events are beginning to pop up.

One I decided to visit was the Wonder of Christmas at Peterborough Cathedral on its launch night on November 19. I’m a great admirer of Peterborough Cathedral, so to see it festively decorated and lit up at night was a lovely sight.

To enter this experience, we first had to go through the Norman arch that leads onto the cathedral grounds. This part was covered with blacked out fences, adding an extra level of mystery of what was ahead.

As we entered onto the cathedral green, we were greeted with a trail of twinkling lights that led into the magnificent building. The soft white of the lights edged the paths that led to the cathedral.........
