Keir Starmer has declared he's "ready and willing" to deploy British troops to Ukraine as part of a peacekeeping mission should an agreement be reached. This is the first time the Labour leader has suggested that UK forces might be involved in the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
The statement comes just before an important defence conference in Paris today with European allies.
