There’s a lot more to La Boca than El Caminito and the Bombonera stadium. The traditional neighborhood is also a hotspot for contemporary art galleries and collections, and as this free tour on Saturday, July 13 will show. Highlights include esteemed art hub Proa, which is currently featuring an exhibition of contemporary Mexican artists. The tour will also stop at the Larivière Foundation and its extensive 19th-century Latin American photography collection, and Colón Fábrica, the warehouse of Teatro Colón, which houses and exhibits sets, props and costumes from original opera and ballet productions staged in Argentina’s most renowned opera house.
