Over the past few weeks, I have continued my work as your local champion – fighting for our Green Belt locally and standing up for national issues in Westminster, writes the Conservative MP for Beaconsfield Joy Morrissey.
A major issue continuing to dominate conversations across South Bucks is the future of our Green Belt. Residents have consistently made their views clear: our countryside should not be sacrificed for unsuitable large-scale developments. I share those concerns wholeheartedly.
I have submitted a formal objection to the proposed development on land near Heath End Road in Flackwell Heath. Many residents have been in touch with serious concerns about the impact such a scheme could have locally. Protecting Flackwell Heath’s Green Belt remains a priority, and I will continue........
