As a good Christian man, Folau's word should be his bond

It's a tough one.

The Vinnies chief executive Sleepout last night set a target of $7 million to raise money for homeless people across Australia. At the exact same time Israel Folau set up a GoFundMe page to pay for his own legal costs, in an attempt to make Australia a safe place in which to vilify gays.

So, who is more deserving of your charitable dollar?

I'll leave you to think for an eighth of a second ...

Friends, this is ABSURD, and has even more levels of hypocrisy to it than Alan Jones - did I mention he is the principal pusher of Folau and his fundraising page? - is usually associated with, which is saying something.

Let's start with you, Israel Folau. As a good Christian man, your word should be your bond, and when you make a commitment that should be the end of it.

So we'll leave aside - just for the moment, I promise you - your commitment to Rugby Australia not to put up any more posts like you did last year, the commitment on which it in turn committed a million dollars a year to you for the next four years.
