In a surprising shift from their previous camaraderie, Musk expressed regret on June 11 for a series of social media posts targeting Trump, marking a notable de-escalation after a week of escalating hostilities between the two influential figures.

“I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week. They went too far,” Musk wrote on June 11 on his social media platform, X. Although he did not specify which posts he was referring to, the statement came after several days of sharp accusations and personal insults exchanged between the tech billionaire and the president.
