The British Columbia Investment Management Corp. engaged with 181 public and private portfolio companies on environmental, social and governance risks and opportunities in 2025 and 2026, according to the organization’s latest stewardship report.

It noted among in-depth engagements, 44 per cent showed positive momentum, while eight per cent achieved their objectives.
