Proposition 315 gives the people oversight of the government’s most expensive regulations. Right now, this layer of accountability is missing.
When new state regulations are projected to cost the public hundreds of thousands of dollars a year or more, the public doesn’t get a second opinion before being hit with those costs.
By subjecting the most expensive rules to legislative approval, Proposition 315 finally gives the people someone to hold directly accountable.
That extra layer of protection will also restore regulatory certainty to small businesses and employers, which means more jobs and wage growth for Arizona.
