Hispanics in Arizona and across the nation are mobilizing with energy matchable only by Kamala Harris herself.
Take it from 94-year-old Dolores Huerta, who’s not letting age or anything else get in the way of her crisscrossing America to speak forcibly and with clarity about why voting for Harris matters.
“You know what my children and grandchildren told me? They told me, mom, we’re supporting Kamala and we’re sending her money,” said Huerta, the labor rights activist who inspired the farmworker movement’s Si, Se Puede rallying cry.
“The excitement is palpable.”
You can feel it at rallies like the one Huerta recently led in Phoenix. You can see it on TikTok and Instagram, where Hispanics have jumped enthusiastically onto the Kamala Harris bandwagon.
Their support caught Trump’s campaign off guard and clearly touched a nerve, since he still appears to be at a loss over how to fend off that wave.
Few saw this enthusiasm coming, but the Harris campaign is running with it.
