Opinion: Fake elector vows 'millions' to get me fired

Two years ago, our now president-elect Donald Trump announced what he called his “free speech policy initiative,” the first lines of which read:

“If we don’t have FREE SPEECH, then we just don’t have a FREE COUNTRY. It’s as simple as that. If this most fundamental right is allowed to perish, then the rest of our rights and liberties will topple just like dominos one by one. They’ll go down.”

Apparently, some of Trump’s biggest backers in Arizona were absent that day from MAGA school. Or didn’t receive the memo. Or didn’t read it.

Because they not only want to shut me up, they’re promising to spend millions to do so.

Now, I wouldn’t exactly say the ultimatum posted online was like putting a price on my head. But I would call it an attack on free speech, an attempt to silence a voice in the media that disagrees with them.

Here’s how it started.
