On the issue of Palestine, the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always been firm toward the necessity of the Palestinian people obtaining their legitimate rights.

Recently, the Kingdom informed the US administration that it will not have diplomatic relations with Israel unless an independent Palestinian state is recognized on 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as capital and unless Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip is stopped and all members of the Israeli occupation forces withdrawn.

Throughout the years and all the different crises, Saudi Arabia has never abandoned this firm position on the Palestinian issue, no matter international pressures or positions exercised by countries with interests in bending or dissolving the Kingdom’s position.

Here, some of the Kingdom’s positions toward Palestine as a matter of inference are worth mentioning.
