Trump’s Policies Are Always ‘America First’

True ‘America First-ism’ is not isolationism; it means intelligently and efficiently doing whatever will best serve American interests.

The Woke Right, the so-called anti-Neocons, the left-wingers, the lily-livered libertarians, in croaking chorus, have all complained that President Trump:

has broken his promises and can no longer be trusted.

has led the United States into more wars.

is a neocon who conned us into believing he was an America First populist who turned the government’s focus to domestic issues only.

From the first day he ran for office, Trump made it clear that there would be no more forever wars. He has kept that promise. Neither of his terms has bogged down our military in quagmires. The current administration gets in, strikes, accomplishes the mission, and assesses the outcome.

The days of regime change leading to American financed nation building are over. President Trump’s foreign ventures have all focused on doing what is best for the United States. President Trump has maintained and manifested a true America First agenda without bankrupting the military or wasting American lives.

Let’s go all the way back to Trump’s major strike on Syria in April 2017. He didn’t invade Syria, he didn’t station troops there, and he didn’t intend to topple one regime and replace it with another one, all propped up with American blood and treasure. That surgical strike was all about securing American interests. I must admit that I was scared at first when he attacked. Was he going to be investing more time and treasure in foreign intervention? Thankfully, it was what he promised: a strategic strike that had the necessary outcome.

Fast forward to 2020, and Trump took out Iran’s General Soleimani. Tucker Carlson revealed his darker, self-serving inclinations by questioning Trump’s decision to order the assassination, but I trusted the President, and I was right. It was another........
