New Delhi: Lucknow Super Giants on Friday handed debut to left-arm pacer Arshad Khan in place of Mayank Yadav for their home fixture against Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League 2024. Mayank, who rose to heights in the previous matches for the franchise in the 17th edition with his impeccable bowling skills, had to sit out of Friday’s game due to hip swelling.

According to the head coach of LSG Justin Langer, the pace bowler will have to sit out for two matches at least as his swelling will take some time to recover. Meanwhile, LSG handed a debut to pacer Arshad, adding left-arm pace in their bowling contingent.
