Work is due to start on May 15 to surface dress a section of the A1101 Elm High and Outwell Road in Emneth, Wisbech.

To allow the Norfolk County Council work to be carried out safely, the road will be closed to traffic on a number of dates for surfacing, line painting and road stud renewal.

The work will be carried out via a series of overnight road closures from 7pm to 6am.

The road will close for stud removal on May 15, a first surface dressing will take place between May 30 and June 1, a second surface dressing is scheduled for June 8, and final road markings and stud works will take place on June 19.

A fully signed diversion route will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Access to properties will be maintained at all times.

The work which will cost £99,919.73 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department.
