Celtic star Scott Sinclair on going from invisible man to main man in Munich

5 3 11

Scott Sinclair is determined to be the main man for Celtic tonight after feeling more like the invisible man on his last visit to Bayern Munich.

The Hoops ace was part of the Manchester City squad who took on the German giants in the Champions League in 2014.

But Sinclair felt left out – as he didn’t even bag a seat on the bench.

The attacker admitted he then suffered some lows after losing his love for the game at Aston Villa.

But he’s making the most of being an Invincible with Celts now and is determined to make an impact in the Allianz Arena at last.

Sinclair said: “I have been here before with City so it’s nice to come back and be more involved.

“It’s a huge difference to the last time as I wasn’t involved at all. I wasn’t even on the bench.

“I was the 19th man for City back then but now I’m coming back with a role to play and I am enjoying it.

“It just goes to show the
progression in my career but I want to keep progressing and improving.

“I’m at Celtic and enjoying playing Champions League football.

“I am in a much different head space now. I am enjoying playing, I’m scoring and winning.

“It was tough getting relegated at Villa and the dark days........
