Celtic keeper Craig Gordon reveals just what Brendan Rodgers thought of Anderlecht performance

Brendan Rodgers didn’t quite read the riot act in the Celtic dressing room but he left his squad in no doubt about his message.

There was no hairdryer treatment but there was a chilling warning whipping around the group as the manager let them know if they failed to hit the heights he sets then they simply won’t be in his side.

Rodgers admitted his men were well under par against Anderlecht and with a transfer window on the horizon it’s not something he’s going to accept.

Keeper Craig Gordon said: “He wasn’t happy. I think we all realised that. He wasn’t happy at half-time and wasn’t happy at full-time.

“But he did remind us that the bigger picture was to qualify. There were just a number of things he wasn’t happy with.

“There have been a few occasions when he’s been unhappy with us. Not too many. He wasn’t over the top but wasn’t happy and we realised that.

“We know that if we’re not performing at the top levels at this club you can be replaced. The standard has been so high over the past couple of years and he’s not going........
