Sarah Huckabee Sanders Wants Jamele Hill Fired For Donald Trump White Supremacist Comment

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that ESPN’s Jamele Hill’s comments about President Donald Trump encouraging white supremacists were “outrageous” and “a fireable offense.” Hill has been at a debate on both sides on the handling of her comments about Trump.

In a surprising move, the White House spoke out on the issue. Hill, an African-American woman, called Trump a “bigot,” a “threat” and “the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime.” But the tweet that garnered the most reaction on social media stated the following: “Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists.”

ESPN responded by reminding people that her comments “do not represent the position of ESPN.” “We have addressed this with Jemele and she recognizes her actions were inappropriate,” ESPN said.

“I’m not sure if he’s aware” of the tweets, Sanders said, “but I think that’s one of the more outrageous comments that anyone could make, and certainly something that I think is a fireable offense by ESPN.”
Some Trump critics said they were disturbed by Sanders’ talk of a “fireable offense.”
