Tom Brady has promised Jude Bellingham that Birmingham City will ‘hold his parking spot’ after linking up with the ex-Blues wonderkid at Sunday night’s El Classico.

Bellingham scored Real Madrid’s winning goal at the Bernabeu in a 3-2 victory over arch-rivals Barcelona to cement their place at the top of La Liga. Madrid are 11 points clear of Barcelona and on course for a league and Champions League double.

Thanks in no small part to Bellingham's brilliant debut season in Spain. The 20-year-old Brummie has passed 20 goals in all competitions for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

Blues investor Brady was at the Bernabeu to watch Bellingham’s latest star turn for Los Galacticos. The 46-year-old, who won seven Super Bowls during his own illustrious sporting career, said: “I’ve watched this match on television for many years and what a game it was last night.

“I am always grateful for moments like last night where I am able to watch others live their dream and come together as a team to accomplish lifelong goals. Being able to watch and appreciate greatness from athletes across the world is inspiring for us all.

“Sports bring so many people together and gives us something to look forward to. Hope, joy, and success are emotions that make life worth living. The future is in great hands with these young superstars and I wish them the best in their pursuit of glory for their families, teams, and countries they represent. Congrats Real Madrid for a great season. And to Barcelona for such a valiant effort last night.”

Brady sought out match-winner Bellingham after the game and the pair had a picture that will no doubt delight their Birmingham followers. Brady added: “PS We’ll hold your parking spot in Birmingham, Jude. KRO.”
